[ One Million Signature Campaign
to Stop the Persecution of Falun Gong ]
- The Lost Honor of Falun Gong Practitioners Should Be Regained by Prosecuting Jiang Zemin, the Former President of China, for Genocide against Falun Gong Practitioners -
July 20, 2010
We would like to express our support for the G20 summit being held in Seoul this November, and hope that the best results will come for the promising future of our global economy. As the world leaders prepare to come to Seoul, we urge them to strengthen efforts to promote human rights. In particular we are very concerned about the worsening situation of human rights in Mainland China. Major human rights violations happening in China right now include the persecution of Falun Gong practitioners and Tibetan people, and the forced repatriation of North Korean refugees in China need to be given priority over its economic issues.
The persecution against Falun Gong, which began in July 20 1999 by Jiang Zemin, the former president of China, is extremely violent: to date at least 3397 Falun Gong practitioners are confirmed to have been killed as a direct result of torture.
In addition to this figure, witnesses and Chinese physicians reveal that Falun Gong practitioners are being killed for their organs, which are sold and transplanted at enormous profit. The terrible crimes were made public in a report written by Canadian attorney David Matas and former Secretary of state David Kilgour. It reveals a critical amount of circumstantial evidence that systematic organ harvesting is indeed occurring in China. It is a heinous crime against humanity, which is only comparable to the Roman Emperor's persecution of the Christians who were thrown to the lions and the Nazi genocide of the Jews.
The international communities have been making efforts to improve the human rights situation in China, seeing it as their obligation. For example, The U.S. House of Representatives passed House Resolution 605 by an almost unanimous vote, 412-1 on March 16, 2010. The resolution calls upon Beijing to end its campaign to persecute Falun Gong practitioners and notes clearly that "Jiang Zemin ordered the creation of the 6-10 office, an extrajudicial security apparatus, given the mandate to 'eradicate' Falun Gong."
Now it's the time to end the tragedy. The lost honor of Falun Gong practitioners should be regained by prosecuting Jiang Zemin and his followers. We have a moral justification and obligation to pursue this aim and are launching the One Million Signature Campaign to Stop the Persecution of Falun Gong.
The Campaign will start on July 20 to November 7, 2010 and the signatures will be delivered to the G20 leaders participating at the Seoul Summit, including to Hu Jintao, the President of the Chinese Communist Regime. People from all over the world are welcome to join the campaign. Your signature will make a vital difference to protect human rights and freedom, leading to an end to crimes against humanity.
We gather here to make a heartfelt appeal to all the global citizens who believe in the value of justice, freedom and peace to join this historic campaign.
We are striving for a common goal: true peace for all over the world and a bright future for humankind.

[One Million Signature Campaign to Stop the Persecution of Falun Gong]
- Unfolding the 2nd step -
We have finished the first step of the ‘One Million signature of the World Campaign to Stop the Persecution of Falun Gong in China’ campaign started by the Korean Falun Dafa Association. The first step of the campaign began on July 20th 2010 until November 12th 2010 for the G20 summit in Seoul.
Now we unfold the 2nd step
Until November 7th, a total of 123,670 people have given their signature, Including 2,121 people by online petition. We publicly opened the intermediate result in the lounge of foreign press club on the 18th floor of the press center in Seoul and held a press conference to declare that the result will be delivered to leaders of the G20 countries by mail through their embassy. We especially sent the petition to Hu Jin Tao, former president of China. We opened the results publically from the press conference in front of the Chinese embassy on November 11th at 11am. The embassy refused our application so we put the petition in the postbox outside the Embassy.
The Persecution of Falun Gong practitioners, who adhere to truth, goodness, and tolerance, is a crime against humanity that must be stopped as a fundamental condition for peace in the northeast of Asia as well as the world.
Therefore the Korean Falun Dafa association started the second step of the campaign. Until the persecution of Falun Gong in China ends, all of you joining this campaign can make the biggest statement to the Peoples Republic of China. We appeal for you to join the campaign for everyone who loves justice, freedom and peace.
For world peace!
For the future of humanity!
13th Nov. 2010
